7 days to Copenhaguen?

Well, my lovey didn't get the official approval for the trip yet. And he is fed up and convinced that it means that we are not going. I am the optimist and still belive that we are going. Please say a few words tonight so that we can go. :)

We have been working in the yard. I am assigned to the saw to cut the wood from the old deck. Holy crap there is still so much. But we are putting a few bags a time in the trash. I know, I know it is not the most ecological thing to do but heck, I didn't find anybody that recycle pressure treated wood. I wanted to use it for the compost box and for the vegetable box but you can't because any treated wood from before 2004 leaks arsenic and all kind of nasty in the soil and that is not something I want to do in my compost and garden. So, yes, I know I am dumping my problem in the environment but I don't know what else to do. The other option is to pay 700$ to have it dumped in a dump that apparently is the same dump as the city's dump. See what I mean?

Other then that, I am still walking every day. 1 hour each time and we have started to swim again. Not on a regular basis like before but once or twice a week. I was very disapointed because the first time, two weeks ago, I could only do 8 laps. But last week, I was able to do 14. When I think that I was up to 32. Gives me a goal to achieve.

With facebook, and Sparkpeople, I find it very hard to be consistent in this blog. But I don't want to shut it down. So I am going to try again. Just like I am counting calories again.
